The 24th annual PEN Oakland Book Awards presentation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Rockridge Library, 5366 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618 from 1 to 5 p.m. The program will consist of brief readings by the award-winning authors, a light reception, and book sales and signings. Copies of the new PEN Oakland anthology, Fightin Words, as well as an earlier PEN Oakland anthology, Oakland Out Loud, will be on sale, as well as copies of the winning books. Free.
