Not only is Floyd Salas on the bill, performing his usual kick-ass poetry, but I will be performing my piece “NO-Body” with Catherine Matovich, violinist extraordinaire, on violin. We plan to party afterward! (Tickets available on-line or at the door.)
Violinist Catherine Matovich has jammed with Bo Diddley, played back-up for Mary J. Blige and toured the world with Neil Diamond. She is fiddler with the well-loved Cajun-Zydeco band, CZ and the Bon Vivants. Catherine also plays classical viola for the California Symphony and the Reno Philharmonic. Under the pen name, Jasmine Stone, she is the author of two racy books published by Virgin and translated into several languages.
