I’m a little late here, but did want to post that the on-line magazine, Polarity, published my poem, “A Phrase on a Grave” in their Winter 2017-2018 issue.  It’s all about how we view others, sometimes as simplistically as those labels on a gravestone, such as: “Beloved Mother,” :

A defining phrase that must always fail

the complexity of the person

Check it out.  And by the way, the gravestone is mine own.  Yes, with writer and dear husband, Floyd Salas.  We actually got written up in a magazine about pre-use (!) gravestones.  And yes, we have danced on our own graves.
