I’m still on a high from attending and participating in the 50th Associated Writing Programs Conference in Washington, D.C., February 8th through 11th. Lucille Lang Day organized our panel, which was entitled “The Independent Press Anthology: Focusing, Editing, Organizing, Designing, Publishing and Marketing.” My fellow panelists, besides Lucy, were Wendy Barker, Bryce Milligan and Diane Lockward. The entire conference and our panel were a great success, as was the Candelight Vigil at Lafayette Park Saturday night, just behind the White House.
